Det nyeste medlem af Hyundais familie af brintbiler hedder Nexo. Navnet er inspireret af den bornholmske by Nex\u00f8, hvilket bestemt m\u00e5 siges at v\u00e6re en fjer i hatten for den danske brintbranche. Hyundai har l\u00e6nge haft et godt \u00f8je til Danmark, ikke mindst grundet den store opbakning til brint- og br\u00e6ndselscelleteknologi og det landsd\u00e6kkende netv\u00e6rk af brinttankstationer. Derfor har de valgt at t\u00e6nke Danmark ind i deres fort\u00e6lling om deres seneste bil p\u00e5 markedet.\u00a0<\/p>

Og det er en fort\u00e6lling, der er v\u00e6rd at h\u00f8re. Ikke alene kan Nexo k\u00f8re 609 kilometer p\u00e5 knap 6,5 kg. brint uden at udlede CO2, den renser ogs\u00e5 luften under k\u00f8rslen. Nexo modvirker alts\u00e5 aktivt luftforurening, mens den k\u00f8rer. Dette sker ved, at den luft, der skal bruges i processen med at omdanne brinten til elektricitet, bliver renset grundigt \u2013 i tre\u00a0<\/p>

Det bliver faktisk til en hel del ren luft, og potentialet et stort. Hvis en Nexo k\u00f8rer i en time, renses 26,9 kg. luft. Et voksent menneske ind\u00e5nder 0,63 kg. luft p\u00e5 en time, s\u00e5 det svarer alts\u00e5 til den m\u00e6ngde luft, 42,6 almindelige voksne mennesker bruger til at tr\u00e6kke vejret p\u00e5 en time. Forestiller man sig, at 100.000 Nexo-biler bliver k\u00f8rt i to timer, renses den m\u00e6ngde luft, som 8.450.000 voksne mennesker ind\u00e5nder i l\u00f8bet af en time \u2013 hvilket svarer til 86% af Seouls indbyggere.
